Merima Agovic (b. 1996) is an Analogue Photographer and Artist based in Southern Ontario, Canada.

As the daughter of Bosnian immigrants who came to Canada following the war, she has developed a perspective deeply shaped by a history that influences her ongoing focus on memory, place, and personal identity.

She works primarily with traditional film, blending a strong technical foundation with an eye for narrative atmosphere. Her practice aims to explore the material and conceptual possibilities of analogue processes, focusing on creating imagery centered around process in storytelling.

Entirely self-taught, her background in learning photography by shooting and developing film at home allows her to approach the medium with a dedicated visual perspective.

She is currently preparing for an upcoming mixed-media art exhibition.
